ODS utilised Trimble Tekla Structures and the Trimble X7 3D Laser Scanner to tackle a complex project for Enevate Homes UK, installing floor and roof steelwork in a historic Martello tower on England’s south coast.
The Trimble X7 allowed ODS to complete a full site survey in one day, generating a point cloud for precise steel detailing. To ensure accuracy, ODS preassembled the floors in their workshop, scanning them to compare against the .IFC model. This process identified and corrected errors before delivery, ensuring seamless on-site installation.
