Electrical Foreman

ODS Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to support the delivery and continued growth of the ODS Modular Department.

Based at our Thurles Modular Fit‑Out Facility, this role focuses on electrical systems integrated within modular units. The ideal candidate will bring extensive commercial electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and ideally experience with modular or offsite construction methods.

You will also collaborate with the electrical engineering team by providing practical, buildable design insights from a production and installation perspective.

• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and modular build requirements to ensure correct installation.
• Plan and manage daily/weekly installation sequences within a structured modular production environment.
• Coordinate with modular fabrication, fit‑out, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain efficient workflow and avoid clashes.
• Assist the electrical engineering team with design feedback and buildability improvements.
• Oversee QA/QC, testing, and compliance activities for modular electrical systems.
• Order, manage, and track materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring alignment with production plans.
• Complete internal sign‑offs before client inspections or factory acceptance tests (FATs).
• Lead, support, and mentor electrical installation crews.
• Maintain strict health & safety standards throughout the facility.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the ODS Modular division.

• Essential: Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman in a commercial electrical environment.
• Preferred: Experience in modular systems, offsite construction, or prefabricated installation environments.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and modular layouts.
• Practical understanding of electrical design and the ability to assist engineering teams.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills suitable for a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding of electrical standards, testing procedures, and compliance requirements.
