3 E-houses: 2 Switchgear buildings & 1 Auxiliary building.
Initial challenge around fire rating compliance with RWE in Germany.
2 units were A1 fire rated (non-combustible), the third was A2 rated, reflecting a tailored fire safety specification across the package.
Total weight of SG units including equipment was 44T.
2 x Tesar 2500kVa – 6.8T Transformers – Complex COG design as 13.6T of Tx on one side.
ABB 12 kV Switchgear type unigear Zs1 in the auxiliary building.
ABB REX640 (Incomer) & REX615 (Feeder) relays, networked via IEC 61850 with GOOSE messaging over a redundant fiber-optic HSR ring for high-availability comms.
